Sculptures of labels naming artworks where one or multiple subjects are asleep. The title refers to a 1921 text from
Kazimir Malevich on the confusion over the meaning of ‘Laziness’ which is both in use in Capitalism and Socialism.

Capitalism ensures the idleness of the few by relying on the work of the many. Socialism aims to reduce work by
redistributing it. In the end, both glorify Laziness. In this text, Malevich defends the following thesis: laziness, far from
being the mother of all vices, is the mother of life. He reminds us that every civilization must strive to free man from
work in order to allow him to fully blossom.
