As it has every year since 1995, Tequila Reserva de la Familia , Casa Cuervo's most iconic label, presents a commemorative edition designed by an artist. This year, Mexican artist Alejandra Venegas was commissioned to reinterpret the box of this premium spirit.
“Nature operates as a completely intertwined whole. That’s why in my work I’m interested in creating relationships between elements that apparently don’t have them."
As part of the creative work, the painter and sculptor visited the agave fields of José Cuervo and the “La Rojeña” distillery to learn about the tequila-making process, which takes time and respects natural cycles.
